After-school cookery clubs
Showing primary school children how easy and enjoyable it is to make delicious, healthy and cost effective meals from scratch
Who we are & what we do
Bayleaf Cookery School was established in 2013 with a mission to widen children's food horizons and get them excited about food and cookery. Since then we have been working with an increasing number of primary schools across Warwickshire, Solihull and Coventry, delivering cookery clubs that spark children's interest, engage their imagination and build the foundations for a lifelong love of cooking for themselves.

Become one of our cookery club class leaders
We're looking for someone to get the children of Stratford-upon-Avon excited about cookery.
If you love food and cooking, enjoy working with children and think you would relish sharing your enthusiasm for cookery with them, this role might just be perfect for you.
You'll get to lead five after-school cookery clubs at primary schools in and around Stratford-upon-avon (max 20 minutes drive from the town centre). The clubs run for approx 1 hour after school, Monday to Friday, during term time only. Total time needed for each class is about 2.5 hours including prep, set-up, clear-up and wash-up.
No two classes are the same so it's never boring, constantly engaging and by turns fun, exhausting, hilarious, challenging and, ultimately, very satisfying. The rate of pay is pretty good too.
This is what Lorraine, class leader since 2013, says about the job:
‘I am pleased to say that working for Bayleaf has been a joy from day one. Charlotte and Andrew are great to work for and are always cheery and easy to get along with. The job is very rewarding and never dull or boring. Every week is different and to see the joy on children’s faces when they leave with their delicious dish is its own reward. The ingredients and recipes are all provided for you each week so you just gather your utensils and get stuck in. Its definitely the best job I’ve ever had!’
To find out more, send us a message via the contact page (reached via the mail icon below), tell us about yourself and we'll get in touch.
